We need comprehensive immigration reform; a common sense plan: legal, sensible immigration policy: 1-document who is already here 2-process asylum seekers 3-resident aliens program- permanent residents but not citizens 4-pathway to citizenship
We need workers to boost the pool of people paying for the retirement benefits of our increasingly aging population. We need the new blood that immigrants provide. The establishment of a COL will attract the best and brightest from around the world to our country, feeding our ranks like no other country.
