We must stand by our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line protecting and defending us. At the same time there can be no tolerance of racist and violent behavior against citizens. The expansion of the use of body cameras are a good protection for cops and citizens alike.
Regarding the criminal justice system, clearly there are tiers of justice in this country. Those who can afford it get better outcomes than the rest of us. It is more a case of classism than racism, nonetheless it is wrong, and we’d better have a national discussion on how to end it.
